About this webinar:

This webinar will introduce participants to amphibian anatomy and common amphibian diseases, with a particular focus on anatomic features important for clinical and pathological examination, common disease presentations, and gross and histologic manifestations of common amphibian diseases.

 

Learning Objectives

Participants will understand:

1. Basic gross and histoligic amphibian anatomy;

2. Common amphibian diseases; and,

3. Clinical presentation and pathologic features of selected amphibian diseases.

 

About the speaker: 

Dr. Robert J. Ossiboff is a Board Certified Veterinary Pathologist with a special interest in the pathology and infectious diseases of reptiles and amphibians. He received his DVM and PhD (Comparative Biomedical Sciences and Infectious Diseases) from Cornell University. He completed his anatomic pathology training at Cornell University and the Wildlife Conservation Society. He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor with the Zoological Pathology Program at the University of Illinopis in Urbana-Champaign.
