Aquatic Veterinary Student Externships
Many institutions, veterinary hospitals and clinics, and government organizations offer externships for veterinary students to increase their knowledge and exposure to clinical aquatic veterinary medicine. The listings below are designed to help WAVMA veterinary student members locate suitable externships. Students should check with their veterinary school to determine if academic credit is accepted for a specific externship.
NOTE: Veterinary student externship summaries below are listed chronologically, based on application deadlines. Those not having a specific deadline are at the bottom of the list. Many of these externship summaries have been submitted by students who participated in the externship; please contact the organization for up-to-date details.
