The presentation shall describe the development and use of non-lethal, blood based clinical chemistry methods for rapid fish health assessment and diagnosis in the aquaculture industry. The use of this technology for both continuous health monitoring and diagnosis shall be discussed and data presented.

Speaker Bio:

I am an ecotoxicologist and have been involved in the development of biomarkers and bioassays to assess the impact of novel environmental pollutants. More recently my research focuses is on the re-purpose and translation of human medical diagnostic technologies to assess fish health in aquaculture.
