Presentation Synopsis:

In this presentation, the main infectious and non-infectious challenges in Chilean salmon aquaculture will be reviewed.

Presentation Learning Objectives:

  1. Review the main bacterial diseases in Chilean salmon aquaculture.
  2. Review the main viral diseases in Chilean salmon aquaculture.
  3. Review the main non-infectious diseases in Chilean salmon aquaculture.

Speaker Bio:

Godoy is a Marine Biologist, Veterinarian, and a Doctorate in Aquaculture. His research focuses on pathology and molecular epidemiology of endemic salmon diseases. He is a researcher and academic in Universidad San Sebastian and Director of Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas Aplicadas (CIBA).
