Presentation Synopsis:

The range of application of X-ray examinations and sonographic examinations will be explained for different fish species. Regularly occurring diseases that can be diagnosed by imaging techniques will be presented. Additional, other imaging techniques, like Computer tomography and magnetic resonance imaging will be shortly presented.

Since 2005: Research associate at the Fish Disease Research Unit of the University of Veterinary Medicine, Hannover, Germany

2007: Doctoral degree

Since 2013: License: Veterinary Specialist for Fish („Fachtierarzt“)

Since 2015 EBVS® Veterinary Specialist for Aquatic Animal Health

Since 2019 Founder and head of the EBVS® Training Centers for Aquatic Animal Health at the Fish Disease Research Unit

2021: Habilitation in Fish Diseases
