Veterinary externs will learn about aquatic animal medicine and care through hands on-experience at Ocean Park with the veterinary team. Externs will have the opportunity to learn how to conduct exams, diagnostics, and therapies on a variety of aquatic and terrestrial species.

Veterinary students. Priority is given to students in later years of study. 

For summer break placements, apply only ON OR AFTER December 15 of year prior. For winter break placements, apply ON OR AFTER May 15 of the year of the placement. Early applications not considered except for final-year clinical externships.
