Program Description

We seek a veterinary student to assist us:

Research and compile information to support regulatory submissions for existent and new aquatic animal drugs
Develop technical support/marketing plan for new product launch
Draft reviews and contents for regulatory submissions for new aquatic animal drugs

Animals Typically Seen at Organization, Institution or Clinic

We don't teat animalsat at our facilities; however, we are asked to consult on treatments with our products for a variety of aquaculture and aquarium species.

Knowledge or Experience Required

Skills Required:

Good writing skills with attention to quality and detail
Organizational skills and problem solving
Project planning and time management skills
Motivated team player with strong communication skills
Proven ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Applications
Veterinary student and/or bachelor’s or more advanced degree in science or technical discipline (e.g., chemistry, pharmacy) is an asset
Working knowledge of pharmaceuticals, drug approvals and the regulatory environment would be helpful
Experience with literature review and data management is an asset

This externship is for the summer of 2016 only. We are estimating start and end dates of May 1, 2016 and September 1, 2016 but this is flexible. We will accept applications to May 31, 2016.

Financial Assistance

This is a paying position. Compensation will be commensurate with skills and experience.
