Loggerhead Marinelife Center offers a 2-4 week veterinary externship for 4th-year veterinary students in clinical sea turtle medicine and rehabilitation. The caseload is reflective of a busy teaching hospital and the extern can expect exposure to all aspects of sea turtle rehabilitation. To be considered, successful candidates must demonstrate a sincere interest in marine animal or wildlife medicine and rehabilitation.
