The Report of the WVA/WMA Global Conference on One Health

The World Veterinary Association (WVA) and the World Medical Association (WMA), in collaboration with the Spanish Medical and Veterinary Associations (SMA and SVA) organised on 21-22 May 2015, in Madrid, Spain, the Global Conference on 'One Health' Concept with the theme: Drivers towards One Health - “Strengthening collaboration between Physicians and Veterinarians”. The event brought together 330 delegates from 40 countries around the world.

The main objectives of the conference were to strengthen the communication between relevant stakeholders and to promote closer collaboration between Physicians, Veterinarians, Students, Public Health Officials, NGOs representatives, and other stakeholders who can help improve different aspects of health and welfare of humans, animals and the environment.
