The biannual Aquaculture Risk Management Conference will this year be held in Istanbul and once again WAVMA members will be speaking. The Conference runs over two days on Thursday and Friday 4 - 5 April. This will be the fourth occassion on which WAVMA have been asked to provide presentationss to this conference underlying the importance of cooperation between the aquaculture insurance industry and veterinarians.
Whilst at first sight this conference may not appeal to veterinarians it actually has a lot to recommend it with several recognised veterinary speakers talking on current issues in aquaculture. Additionally there is much useful information provided on the current situation in aquaculture. At the previous conference in Ireland over 10 veterinary surgeons attended and found it most useful.
