As a member of the World Veterinary Association (WVA), WAVMA is pleased to again be the organizer and coordinator of the 2015 WVC Aquatic Veterinary Sessions.
For consideration, abstracts of oral (20 minute) or poster presentations must be submitted on-line at http://tinyurl.com/kghk9gk, by April 17, 2014.
Speakers selected for the Aquatic Veterinary Sessions will receive a substantial registration discount for the whole WVC!
Presentations dealing with any aquatic species (from marine mammal to aquatic invertebrates) with the following emphasis are particularly encouraged:
- clinically relevant information for practicing veterinarians
- programs supporting aquaculture & ornamental (pet) industries
- case studies & diagnostics of emerging & important diseases
- education programs for expanding aquatic veterinary involvement
- biosecurity & programs to prevent, control & eradicate diseases
- seafood safety, zoonotics & public health
- emerging legislation & regulations
